Bun Thit Nuong (Barbecue Noodles) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
A Da Nang lunchtime staple done simply and well, vermicelli noodles topped with grilled pork, fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, and a light fish sauce dressing. Nothing fussy here, just clean flavours and properly charred meat. With seven of us sharing the table, five bowls disappeared fast. Good for a light, refreshing meal in Da Nang’s heat.

Thit Nuong Cuon & Nem Nuong Cuon (Grilled Pork Rolls & Minced Pork Rolls) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
These two came out together, and it’s easy to see why they’re often ordered as a pair. The thit nuong cuon is sliced grilled pork, savoury and slightly charred, while the nem nuong cuon is the skewered minced version with a flavour close to satay. Side by side, the textures complement each other nicely, one firmer and sliced, the other looser and more aromatic.
The owner showed us how to wrap both properly in rice paper with fresh herbs and vegetables before dipping, and that extra step made a real difference to the final bite. Between the two, the nem nuong cuon edged ahead as our favourite, but ordering both gave us the best of the table.
